An extremely rare and important pair of Bow Owls, crisply modelled with naturalistically coloured beaks their plumage lightly enriched in tones of brown, ochre and yellow, their delineated talons grasping tree stumps, applied with fungi, leaves, moss and flowers. Both resting on twentieth century ormolu bases.
