Set to the centre with an oval purple sapphire weighing 9.54 carats, within a cluster surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders similarly set, size I, one small diamond deficient. Estimate: 6,500 - 7,500 GBP

Accompanied by Certificate of Gem Identification report number 1979, stating that the purple sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indication of thermo-treatment.
