A rare pair of wucai openwork chilong standing salts, early 17th century - Sothebys
each of hexalobed baluster form, rising from a stepped foot to a waisted neck with galleried rim, the body pierced to each face with geometric openings, all divided by clambering chilong and lingzhi sprays against a diaper ground, the shoulder encircled with overlapping leaves and the foot with a lappet band, the neck similarly decorated, encircled at the rim with a keyfret border, set with a coup to the interior with a circular aperture.
