Platinum, the openwork stylized bow brooch centering one oval cabochon jade* approximately 19.5 x 14.45 x 4.05 mm., flanked by tapered ribbons set throughout with 74 old European-cut and single-cut diamonds approximately 1.90 cts., circa 1920, approximately 7 dwt. Jade: deep apple green, several slightly visible minor whitish mottling spots, minor scratch off center, not visible to eye, translucent, good luster. Diamonds: I-VS-SI. Overall good condition. 11/16 x 2 1/8". Estimate $4,000-6,000 - Sold for $12,500
With GIA report #1112796279 stating that the jade is natural color, no indication of impregnation.
