of cylindrical form, the canted shoulder rising to a tall neck and galleried rim, well-painted with a continuous scene of four musicians, playing the pipa, sheng, castanets and clapper, performing for a seated dignitary attended to by boys serving tea in an open garden pavilion with a landscape-painted folding screen behind, the shoulder with reserves of bamboo and florets on a green diaper ground, the neck with a rustic pavilion amongst trees.
