the bright blue satin ground embroidered with nine couched gilt-thread mang dragons grasping at ‘flaming pearls’ against blue ruyi shaped clouds, cranes, couched-thread shou medallions, bajixiang emblems, bats suspending shou characters, all centred on a floral basket filled with narcissus and peaches, above crashing waves and a tall colourful lishui border, the dark blue collar and cuffs with further dragons and plain dark blue sleeves
