the gently curved sides divided into six facets, rising from a short tapered foot to a foliate rim, applied overall with a greyish blue glaze suffused with a network of attractive black and faint russet crackle, the glaze stopping neatly above the footring revealing the brown body, inscribed to the base with a four-character seal mark
