carved in the form of a luohan seated cross-legged on ragged rockwork, his bulbous head flanked by pendulous earlobes reaching to his jawline, his eyes closed in a contemplative manner with the ends of his lips slightly upturned, holding a scroll in both hands with his elbows bent at an angle, the calcified stone of pale buff colour accented with darker brown streaks and finished with a lustrous polish; 12.1 cm, 4 3/4 in. Estimate 250,000 — 300,000 HKD
