The present velvet jacket from the 19th century comes from the court of the Ottoman sultans, where it was worn on special occasions by women. It is embellished with embroidery of gold thread and colored wool and bordered by a ribbon of woolen and metallic threads. The jacket shows some wear marks. The velvet and embroidery are partly rubbed off, and the lining is missing. The back length is 45 cm, and the sleeve length is 56 cm. The collar size measures 36 cm.
