Of upright form, the gold lacquer ground embellished with mura-nashiji and kirikane, lacquered with a continuous design of Nasu Yoichi, the celebrated archer riding past a flowering cherry tree in a mountainous landscape, in gold and slight-coloured takamaki-e, the interior of nashiji, signed Kansai utsusu; with simulated coral ojime and plain wood manju netsuke. 8.5cm (3 3/8in) high. Estimate £3,000 - 4,000 (€3,700 - 4,900)
