The dish is potted with shallow rounded sides rising to an everted lipped rim. The interior is decorated with deep-purple splashes and covered overall under a pale sky-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom colour on the raised section of the rims. The slightly recessed base bears five small spur marks. 7 in. (18 cm.) diam., box
