The vase is carved through the darkish-brown glaze to the buff body with a broad band of peony blossoms and leaves on the body, above a band of overlapping petals and below a narrow band of leaf motifs. The base is unglazed. 14 in. (35.5 cm.) high, box 

The result of CityU Professional Services Ltd thermoluminescence test result (ref. no. 0692) is consistent with the dating of this lot.
