of conical form rising from neatly cut foot and shallow footring, well potted with flaring sides slightly bulging below the rim, applied on the interior and exterior walls with a lustrous black glaze mottled with russet streaks drizzling down from the rim evoking hare's fur, stopping short of the base and pooling in an uneven line revealing a dark greyish-brown body, the rim left unglazed and dressed with the a brown wash, Japanese wood box.
