A 'Jian' 'hare's fur' teabowl and a ’Jizhou’ bowl, Song to Ming dynasty

well potted, the first applied on the interior and the exterior with a black glaze painted with russet streaks drizzling down the sides, falling short of the rim and above the neatly cut foot, revealing a reddish-brown stoneware, the other similarly applied with a mottled brown glaze stopping unevenly over the greyish-pink ware - 12.1 and 11 cm., 4 3/4  and 4 1/4  in.
