The dish is delicately moulded with the cavetto in the form of six fluted lobes, below a wide flared circular rim. It is decorated to the interior with a single flower spray in the centre radiating double petals along each lobe. The rim is further moulded with florets and leaves. It is covered inside out with a pale blue glaze except for the rim. 5 7/8 in. (14.8 cm.) diam., Japanese wood box
