The bottle, of thin, flattened baluster form with a flared neck and narrow sides with flat facets is carved from stone of near-white tone and suffused with light russet markings. Both sides are carved with an imperial poem on snuff bottles by Emperor Qianlong, the characters filled with gilt. 2 ½ in. (6.4 cm.) high, turquoise stopper
