The body is decorated in imitation of Ming-dynasty 'heaping and piling' with a broad band of leafy lotus scroll and grasses. The foot and shoulder are encircled by further leafy scroll. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande mark. 6 ¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high.
