Sturdily potted, the centre carved with a single lotus spray below a band of narrow fluted petals in the well and foliate scroll carved on the everted rim, the exterior carved with a band of petals, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone except for an unglazed ring on the base burnt orange in the firing - 18 in. (45.8 cm.) diam.
