Height on stand: 16.50” Width: 9.50”.

This stamp was used to create "lucky money" for the celebrations on Tết Nguyên Đán, more commonly called Tet - the Vietnamese New Year. Children are given red envelopes containing lucky money such as this stamp was used to create. This tradition is known as mừng tuổi (happy new age) in the northern parts of Vietnam and lì xì in the south.
