By family tradition: Purchased in Paris in 1910, this ring was lost in a game of cards to an unscrupulous Duke who in turn lost it during a party, where it was presumed stolen. In 1990, his great grand daughter was looking for her lost hamster and, looking under the floorboards, found the ring.
