the pear-shaped body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck, set with a curved spout and loop handle, the exterior freely carved with a three clawed dragon, all above a moulded lappet band, covered overall in a celadon glaze stopping unevenly above the foot revealing the grey body, lacquered wood cover, Japanese wood box.
