Well carved in the form of an archaistic zun resting on the back of a recumbent phoenix, its head turned backward gazing up at a chi dragon climbing through the pierced handle along the neck of the vessel, the phoenix with a leafy lotus stem in its beak, its wings upturned and its long tail continuing between its clawed feet into an archaistic element forming a portion of the base.
