Compare a related jade dragon pendant, Han dynasty, decorated with dragon and phoenix in the Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum: Jade, Vol. 4, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Beijing, 2011, p.163, pl.212, with similar carving techniques and stylistic features to the present lot.
