The compressed bulbous body raised on three paw supports and encircled by a lower flat bow-string band and a more pronounced rib at the edge of the shoulder below a band of petals outlined in dark blue and amber on a blue and straw-glazed resist-spotted ground which continues on the sides, the waisted neck and everted rim glazed dark amber, with a thin amber glaze wash on the interior.
Note: The result of Oxford Authentication Ltd. thermoluminescence test no. C107b89 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
