the shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to an eight bracket-lobed rim, covered overall save for the footring in a sage-green glaze.
Note: A closely related jar of this form, excavated in 2002 from the Xuande stratum at Jingdezhen and now preserved at the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum, is exhibited in Pure and Natural. Special Exhibition of Ming and Qing Monochrome Porcelains, Beijing, 2018, pl. 11.
