of steeply rounded shape, boldly painted in underglaze blue and copper-red with mackerel, whitefish, carp, freshwater perch and crustacea swimming amidst numerous aquatic weeds below a chevron border around the rim.
Note: The names of the four fish on the present lot form a rebus qing bai lianjie meaning pure and incorruptible.
