Painted in underglaze blue around the body with stylized fu and shou characters withinchi dragon roundels, surrounded by ascending and descending winged chilong and lotus sprigs painted in iron red, between lotus lappets below and ruyi heads and crashing waves above, the slender neck painted with conjoined chilong interspersed with iron-red florets beneath gilt and iron red shou characters and further borders of ruyi heads and waves, the rim covered in a brown wash.
