The shallow rounded sides encircled on the exterior by a single incised line, the center of the interior deftly carved and combed with a bold design of turbulent waves, covered overall with an attractive olive-green glaze, the unglazed base with recessed center burnt brown in the firing.

Of rounded conical form with a bow-string band below the rim on the exterior, the interior well carved with a curving lotus spray that fills the center below an incised line border, all under a crackled glaze of olive-green color; together with an unusual small qingbai flower-form bowl, Southern Song dynasty, in the form of an eight-petalled flower rising from a small spreading stem foot, the interior relief-decorated with a delicate flower centering eight petals that rise up the sides, the glaze of aqua color.

Of Cizhou type, the sides flaring before rounding up to the rim, covered with a lustrous black glaze liberally splashed on the interior with russet and with some russet streaks on the exterior falling from the rim towards where the glaze ends in an irregular line to expose the finely grained ware; together with a Jianyao 'hare's fur' conical tea bowl with everted rim, Song dynasty.
