The bowl is thickly potted with a narrow foot rising to wide flaring sides, with a raised band below the lipped rim. The interior is carved with a large stylised lotus spray within a circle. The bowl is covered inside and out with an olive-green glaze pooling at the recesses. The base and foot rim are unglazed, exposing the greyish-brown biscuit body.
