Finely potted with deep rounded sides rising to a flaring rim from a short straight foot, incised around the exterior with two striding five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the interior with a central dragon roundel, covered in a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze save the base glazed white, box.

Provenance: a Swiss private collection.

Note: Compare with a related yellow glazed bowl with incised dragons, but with straight sides, Kangxi, illustrated by J.Ayers, Chinese Ceramics in the Baur Collection, vol.2, Geneva, 1999, p.69, no.190.
