the Daoist God of Medicine seated with the right hand resting on the knee and the left hand holding a double gourd in front of the chest, wearing a loose robe and a studded belt over the round belly, the round face with a pointed beard and donning an official's cap, traces of red and black lacquer, wood stand in the form of a throne (2).
Provenance: Acquired in Nashville, Tennessee, in the early 1990s.
