Seated dressed in a flowing robe falling in well defined pleats, her left leg raised supporting both arms, holding a scroll in her left hand, her face with downcast eyes and a calm expression, her hair piled high and fronted by a diadem below a diaphanous scarf, the glaze a bluish tone. 

Provenance: Ludwig Bretschneider (1909-1987), Munich, by descent in the family and acquired from the family in 1995.
