potted in the form of a fruit, with a gently lobed globular body resting on a star-shaped foot, representing the fruit's sepals, one side incised with four characters in running script reading you jiu feng qing ('with wine and breeze'), set opposite the spout with a handle modelled in the form of a gnarled leafy branch, the branch extending across the cover and forming the knob, covered overall with a transparent white glaze.
