Bronze; raised seal script inscription: ‘Seal of the General of Pacifying the Barbarians’; reverse features a sculpted lion-shaped handle; inscribed with: ‘February, Year 3 of the Yongle reign; produced by the Ministry of Rites; Rites Department No. 625’; believed to have been used by Zheng Hongkui, uncle of Zheng Chenggong; enfeoffed as the Marquis of Pacifying the Barbarians during the Hongguang era of the Ming dynasty
