DENVER, CO.- The Denver Art Museum was named one of five New Wonders of the World by Condé Nast Traveler magazine in its April 2007 issue, which hit newsstands this week. The Museum’s 146,000-square-foot, titanium clad Frederic C. Hamilton Building, which opened in October 2006, was designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. The five New Wonders of the World, spanning three continents from the American West to Far East Asia, join Libeskind with Le Corbusier, Frank Gehry, Benjamin Warner, and Murphy/Jahn Architects.
