Steve Maloney, Boogie Woogie @ 9 pm, 2007

NEW YORK.- Even as New York struggles to rein in traffic, the art of driving is cropping up within the city limits in new and intriguing forms. California artist Steve Maloney will be exhibiting selections from This Is Where The Rubber Meets The Road, his vibrant series of mixed-media works created from crashed sheet metal from actual NASCAR racecars, at the CODA Gallery in the Soho district of Manhattan. The exhibition is scheduled to run at CODA from November 21-December 4, concurrent with the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champions Week, which motors into New York November 24-December 2, 2007.
