Footnote: Formally in the possession of Rico Capey, this table top was offered as lot 13 in Bonham's sale of Decorative Arts in July 1995, where purchased by the present owner.
Rico Capey (born 1895) was appointed by Yardley & Co, to set up a design studio in 1928-29. He co-ordinated, and had approval for, Ruhlmann's furnishings and lighting of the Yardley showroom constructed at 33, Old Bond St.
