A celadon glazed porcelain foliate rim bowl - 13th/14th Century

Its wide and deep interior well molded in shallow linear relief with outlines of eight lotus petal-shaped reserves surrounding four opposing pairs of auspicious symbols, all visible beneath a pale blue-green glaze layer of yingqing type applied to all surfaces except the broad foot and shallow recessed base burnt to a pale buff color (chipped).
