A fine Ming-style blue and white vase, meiping - Qianlong

The graceful swollen body rising gently from a slightly splayed foot to a short neck with everted mouth rim, the exterior painted in deep shades of blue with simulated 'heaping and piling', with three detached fruit-sprays between a band of plantain leaves at the foot and a stylised petal lappet at the neck (rim chip). 26cm (10in) high. - Sold for £8,000 plus Premium and tax
