A late Louis XV ormolu-mounted kingwood, tulipwood, satinwood, parquetry and marquetry commode - Third quarter 18th century, supplied by Victor Grandpierre circa 1955

The later eared rectangular moulded brèche d'Alep marble top, above three panelled frieze drawers inlaid with three entrelacs, above two further panelled drawers decorated sans traverse, inlaid with floret-inset lozenge parquetry, with a foliate-cast shaped apron, the sides inlaid conformingly, on foliate-headed cabriole legs terminating in foliate-cast paw feet, remounted, restorations, probably originally with further framing mounts to the front
