the oval washer with gently rounded sides, the body intricately carved on both sides in shallow relief with a gnarled pine tree among rockwork, the branches extending over the rim and unfolding across the sides and base, a pair of squirrels climbing in the branches, the stone a mottled olive tone with black inclusions. 14.6cm., 5 in.
