Of globular form on three paw feet, decorated in gilding in Augsburg, each side with an elaborate chinoiserie scene with figures flanked by trees and stylised rockwork on a strap and scrollwork bracket, the front with an exotic bird perched on a branch, the contemporary matched cover with similar bird vignettes, C-scroll borders to rims, 11.5cm high, indistinct lustre inscription to base (minor wear to gilding) (2). Sold for £1,080
