The Marisa necklace is inspired by the natural elegance of the actress and model Marisa Berenson, a guest at the Proust Ball. It expresses the splendour and the refinement of the end of the Proustian era. This unique necklace is adorned by an exceptional DIF type 2A rose-cut pear-shaped 10.32-carat diamond.

This ball was held on the 100th anniversary of seminal author Marcel Proust's birth. The theme consisted in dressing as one of the two thousand characters from the Proust's novel "Remembrance of Things Past".
American actress and model Marisa Berenson was a guest at this exceptional ball. According to legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, Berenson was "THE girl of the seventies". She began her career in film masterpieces such as Visconti’s "Death in Venice" and Kubrick’s "Barry Lyndon".
On the occasion of the Proust Ball she dressed as the Marchesa Casati, famous for her eccentricity and the sumptuous masked balls she hosted.
