Of irregular oval section with a deep well carved as the overlapping petals of a stylized magnolia blossom and with further stems both undercut and carved in high relief appearing on the exterior walls in combination with flowering camellia branches that form a deeply undercut handle, the matrix of warm golden brown hue on the exterior with areas of deeper brown across the floor of the well and the base. 4in (10cm) high; 6 7/8in (17.5cm) long- Sold for US$74,500
