the tapering ovoid body rising to a rounded shoulder set with a short straight neck, decorated in green enamel with a pair of ferocious dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amongst scrolling clouds, all beneath a frieze of beribbonedbajixiang and above a lappet band, the cover similarly decorated with a coiled dragon chasing a flaming pearl, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character Qianlong seal mark; 21.5cm., 8 1/2 in.
