Jadeite, icy jadeite, ruby, black diamond and diamond 'Panda' brooch - Sotheby's

Modelled as a panda holding carved jadeite bamboo twigs of highly translucent emerald green colour, the body set with a translucent icy jadeite cabochon, the head set with brilliant-cut diamonds accented by green jadeite eyes, and the limbs set with black diamonds, accented by circular-cut rubies, the diamonds together weighing approximately 5.30 carats, mounted in 18 karat black gold,with pendant loop fitting. Estimation: 90,000 - 120,000 HKD

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 64026, dated 24 January 2013, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as “A jade”.
