Silver, (diam:15,5 cm).
This small dish is adorned by a lotus flower and two friezes of interlaces. Cutch silverwork was appreciated in the late XIXth century and was exhibited in Europe, in events such as the Paris Universal Exposition of 1878. Cutch silver was imported into Britain by firms such as Proctor and co and Liberty’s in London and in The United States by Tiffany and co.
