the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a flaring rim, incised and painted in green enamel against an egg-yolk yellow ground, the exterior with two ferocious dragons striding amidst cloud wisps and flame scrolls in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', all below an undulating foliate scroll and above a band of linked ruyi heads, the interior with a medallion enclosing a shou character, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark.
