the shallow rounded sides gently rising from a short tapered foot to a flared foliate rim, the interior centred with a medallion enclosing a green-enamelled five-clawed scaly dragon soaring en face around a 'flaming pearl' amidst floral scrolls, surrounded by a circular green ring, the cavetto decorated with a pair of dragons writhing sinuously in pursuit of 'flaming pearls' amidst further floral scrolls, all within a dark aubergine-enamelled line along the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with two green-enamelled dragons soaring amidst floral scrolls in pursuit of flaming pearls, the detail all picked out against a bright yellow ground, the white base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark.
