with canted incurved corners and shallow rounded sides, supported on a straight foot of corresponding shape, the interior elaborately carved with a scene depicting a group of scholars on horseback riding to a pavilion with their assistants, the landscape laden with verdant vegetation and rocky cliffs, the exterior with four sinuous writhing dragons above a petal lappet band, the base lacquered black.
